What do we mean by clean burning and how does it work? The control and regulation of primary air and the introduction of secondary air causes a second combustion or post-combustion characterized by a second flame, more vivid and clear, that develops above the main flame. This occurs thanks to the introduction of new oxygen, which burns the unburned gases significantly improving the thermal efficiency and minimizing harmful emissions of CO (carbon monoxide) due to incomplete combustion. This is a particular feature of GEMCO stoves and other pellet burning solutions.
