home use pellet mills

GEMCO Home Use Small Pellet Mills with flat die are composed by a set of roller press, flat die, feeder and gear bearings equipped with electrical motor or diesel generator. Pellets are formed from powder materials processed under high pressure between the flat die and rollers.

The duration of the flat die and rollers is approximately 1000-2000 hours. Please note that the duration of parts and the production capacity of the machines will mostly depend on the following factors:
  1. Raw material to be pelletized
  2. Moisture content
  3. Diameter of final product
  4. Machine maintenance
It is important to ensure that no stones or metal pieces are introduced in the mill as they would have a negative impact on the die and rollers. For your safety, our pellet press with electric motor contains an electric cabinet with safety protections against overload, short circuits and power surges.

  • Mix the raw material, abrasive material, and waste engine oil, and add the mixture to grind the pelletizing holes before the first time you start making pellets.
  • Do not touch the rotating parts during running.
  • Mix the raw material and waste engine oil, and add the oily mixture after pelletizing, let the oily mixture run through the mill 3 times, and then shut down the mill. This process is to avoid the material blocking the pelletizing holes.
  • Cut off the power source or turn off the engine before maintenance or internal inspection.
